Cruze 40mm Rechargeable Roller Blind Motor Kit

Upgrade a compatible 40mm roller blind to convenient rechargeable motor operation without replacing the complete blind.

The Cruze 40mm rechargeable motor fits inside compatible 40mm roller blind tubes and provides 1.1Nm of torque. With an integrated 12V 2600mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, no permanent mains wiring is required.

Choose a kit for 1, 2, 3 or 4 blinds. Every kit includes one Cruze 4-channel remote control and one AC charger, together with the motor fittings required for the number of motors selected.

Each motor is supplied with the appropriate drive components and 40mm adaptor, together with the required bracket and idle-end fittings for installation.

The included 4-channel remote allows individual or grouped control of compatible Cruze motors, making the multi-motor kits particularly convenient when upgrading several roller blinds at the same time.

Somfy RTS Compatible

One of the key advantages of the Cruze system is its compatibility with Somfy RTS controls.

Cruze motors can be operated using the included Cruze 4-channel remote or suitable Somfy RTS controls, making the system suitable both for first-time motorisation and for homes already using compatible Somfy RTS products.

For smart control, add the Somfy Connectivity Kit to operate compatible motors through the Somfy app and compatible voice assistants. One Connectivity Kit can control multiple compatible motors, so one is not required for every blind.

Designed for Larger 40mm Roller Blind Systems

With 1.1Nm torque, the Cruze 40 provides twice the nominal torque of the 0.55Nm Cruze 32 and is designed for compatible larger 40mm roller blind systems.

Manufacturer specifications give a fabric-dependent blind width range of 650–3000mm and drop range of 200–3000mm. Actual suitability will depend on the dimensions, fabric and overall weight of the blind.

If your existing 40mm tube, fabric and bottom bar are suitable, these can normally be retained while the manual chain or spring mechanism is replaced with rechargeable motorisation.

Charging

Each kit includes one dedicated AC charger, whether you select 1, 2, 3 or 4 motors.

The charger can be reused across multiple compatible Cruze motors, so one charger will normally be sufficient for a multi-blind installation.

Additional Remote Controls

Every kit includes one Cruze 4-channel remote control.

The remote provides individual and group control, and the Cruze system supports multiple compatible motors per channel. Additional remotes can be purchased separately where more than one handset is required.

Compatibility & Sizing

Designed for compatible 40mm roller blind tube systems.

The Cruze 40 motor provides 1.1Nm torque and is intended for larger roller blind applications than the 32mm Cruze motor. Actual suitability depends on the blind dimensions, fabric and overall blind weight.
