Mains-Powered Motorisation for 1–6 Roller Blinds

Create a permanently powered motorised roller blind system with the Raex TQA25 Mains Powered Roller Blind Motor Kit.

Designed for compatible 38mm and 40mm roller blind systems, the compact TQA25 fits inside the roller tube and provides reliable remote-controlled operation from a permanent 100–240V AC mains supply.

With 1.1Nm torque and a recommended maximum blind weight of 4kg when used with a 40mm roller tube, it's ideal for renovations, extensions, new builds and other installations where permanent power is available.

Unlike rechargeable motors, there are no batteries to recharge.

Choose a kit for 1–6 motorised blinds, with the appropriate Raex multi-channel remote included.

Remote Control Included

1–2 Motorised Blinds Includes a 2-channel Raex remote for individual control.

3–6 Motorised Blinds Includes a 7-channel Raex remote, allowing multiple blinds to be controlled individually or together as a group.

With six blinds, for example, channels 1–6 can control individual blinds while the additional channel can be used as an all-blinds/group control.

Each order also includes one appropriate remote:

Roller tube, bottom bar and blind fabric are not included.

Important – Mains Electrical Installation

The Raex TQA25 is a 100–240V AC mains-powered motor and requires connection to a suitable permanent electrical supply.

Electrical connections and any new electrical supply should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK electrical regulations.

A suitable means of local isolation should be provided. Depending on the installation, this may typically be an appropriately specified switched fused connection unit (fused spur/FCU).

This is not a plug-in or rechargeable motor.

If a suitable electrical supply isn't already available near the blind, please discuss the installation with your electrician before ordering.

No additional smart-home hub is required, and the normal Raex handheld remote can still be used.

The S11 can be added now or purchased later.

Optional Timer Control

A compatible Raex timer remote is also available separately, allowing blinds to open and close automatically at programmed times without requiring Wi-Fi or a smart-home system.

Converting Existing Roller Blinds

The TQA25 can also motorise suitable existing roller blinds where an appropriate mains supply is available.

Depending on your blind, the existing fabric, roller tube and bottom bar may be retained while the manual chain mechanism is replaced with the motorised system.

Please check that:

• Your roller tube is a compatible 38mm or 40mm system

• The internal tube profile is compatible with the supplied adaptor

• The blind does not exceed the recommended 4kg maximum weight

• The blind is suitable for motorisation

• A suitable permanent mains supply is available or can be installed

Similar-sized roller tubes can have different internal profiles, so diameter alone does not guarantee compatibility.
