Signature 89mm Vertical Blind Fabric – 100m Roll

Signature 89mm Vertical Blind Fabric – 100m Roll

Give your existing vertical blinds a new look without replacing the complete blind with Signature 89mm vertical blind fabric, supplied in a full 100 metre roll.

Designed for customers who want to make their own replacement vertical blind louvres, Signature is available in a choice of Daylight or Blackout fabric, with a wide range of 22 colours to suit both modern and traditional interiors.

The material is supplied as 89mm-wide fabric only. It is not cut into individual louvres and does not include hangers, bottom weights or bottom chain. This makes it an economical option for DIY refurbishment, larger blinds, multiple windows or anyone comfortable cutting and finishing their own vertical blind fabric.

Choose Daylight or Blackout

Daylight : A practical everyday vertical blind fabric that filters natural light while providing privacy. Ideal for living rooms, dining areas, offices and general-purpose blinds where you don't require blackout.

Blackout : Provides substantially greater light control by preventing light passing directly through the fabric itself. Ideal for bedrooms and other areas where increased light reduction and privacy are required.

Please remember that although the fabric itself is blackout, a vertical blind cannot normally provide complete room blackout because some light may enter between the louvres and around the edges of the blind.

22 Signature Colours

Both Signature Daylight and Signature Blackout are available in the same broad 22-colour range, making it easy to choose the level of light control you require without compromising on colour.

Where colour matching is important, we recommend viewing a physical fabric swatch before ordering a complete roll, as colours can appear differently on different screens and under different lighting conditions.

How Much Fabric Will I Need?

Vertical blinds can use considerably more fabric than you might expect because every individual louvre runs for almost the full drop of the blind.

As an example, a typical 2 metre wide vertical blind may contain around 25 × 89mm louvres. With each louvre approximately 2 metres long, this could require around 50 metres of fabric.

A complete 100 metre roll can therefore be a practical quantity for a large blind, several blinds or for keeping matching material for future repairs.

The number of louvres varies between vertical blind systems, so count the louvres on your existing blind and measure their finished length before ordering.

A simple calculation is:

Number of louvres × required length of each louvre = approximate fabric required

Allow additional material for forming the top and bottom of each louvre and for cutting/wastage.

Fabric Only – For DIY Replacement

This product is supplied as a continuous 100 metre roll of 89mm vertical blind fabric.

It is not supplied as finished replacement vertical blind slats. The fabric will need to be measured, cut and finished by the customer to suit their existing vertical blind system.

Depending on the condition and design of your existing blind, components may be reusable. Blind Parts Hub also supplies replacement vertical blind hangers, bottom weights, bottom chain and other vertical blind repair parts separately.

Repair Rather Than Replace

If your vertical blind track and operating system still work correctly, replacing the fabric can provide a cost-effective way of refreshing worn, damaged, stained or outdated louvres without replacing the complete blind.

It can be particularly useful for large windows and patio doors, where a vertical blind may contain a substantial number of louvres.
