How to Replace Vertical Blind Weights and Chains

If your vertical blinds look uneven or disconnected, the weights or bottom chain are usually the issue.

What You’ll Need

• Replacement weights

• Bottom chain ( remember - the number of chain links required is double number of vanes

  i.e. 10 vanes = 20 links)

Step 1: Remove old weights

Slide them out from the bottom of each slat.

Step 2: Insert new weights

Ensure they are evenly fitted.

Step 3: Attach the chain

Clip the chain across all weights both sides.
