Cadence Voile Roller Blind Fabric by the Metre – 200cm Wide
Cadence is a lightweight voile roller blind fabric, supplied by the continuous metre and designed for customers who want to maximise natural daylight while adding soft screening to a window.
With its delicate sheer appearance, Cadence provides a very different look from conventional daylight or blackout roller blind fabrics. Rather than heavily filtering or blocking incoming light, the fabric allows daylight to pass through and helps soften the appearance of the window.
Available in White, Natural and Grey, the simple three-colour palette makes Cadence easy to coordinate with both contemporary and traditional interiors. It is particularly well suited to living rooms, kitchens, conservatories and other areas where retaining a bright, open feel is more important than achieving blackout.
Cadence is 100% polyester, with a lightweight construction of approximately 126.64g/m² and a thickness of approximately 0.33mm.
This listing is for fabric only, supplied at 200cm wide and cut from the roll to the continuous length ordered.

Ordering Your Fabric
Cadence is sold by the linear metre with a minimum order of 2 metres.
The fabric is 200cm wide, so the quantity selected determines the continuous length supplied:
Quantity 2 = 200cm long × 200cm wide
Quantity 3 = 300cm long × 200cm wide
Quantity 4 = 400cm long × 200cm wide
Wherever possible, your order will be supplied as one continuous length.
For example, ordering a quantity of 3 provides a piece approximately 300cm long × 200cm wide, rather than three separate one-metre pieces.
How Much Fabric Do I Need?
When replacing the fabric on an existing roller blind, don't order fabric equal to the exact finished drop.
Additional material is required to wrap around the roller tube and to form or attach the bottom-bar pocket. We recommend allowing approximately 30cm extra beyond the required finished blind drop.
For example:
Finished blind drop: 150cmRecommended fabric length: approximately 180cmOrder quantity: 2 metres
If you're unsure how much fabric you need, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to help.
Making More Than One Blind?
Because Cadence is supplied at a full 200cm width, it may be possible to cut two or more roller blind covers side-by-side from the same length, depending on the widths of your blinds.
This can make fabric by the metre particularly economical when replacing several blinds.
Give us the finished widths and drops of your blinds and we can help work out the most economical cutting layout before you order.
What Is Voile Roller Blind Fabric?
Voile is a lightweight, sheer fabric designed to retain considerably more natural daylight than conventional daylight or blackout roller blind materials.
Cadence gently screens the window without creating the heavier appearance of an opaque fabric. This makes it a particularly attractive option where the objective is to retain a bright, airy room while adding a degree of daytime screening.
It can also work particularly well where a roller blind is used alongside curtains or another window covering, providing a softer layer at the window during the day.
How Much Privacy Does Voile Provide?
This is one area where I think we should be particularly clear with customers.
Cadence provides screening rather than complete privacy.
During daylight hours, the sheer fabric can help soften the view through a window. However, because voile is intentionally translucent, privacy will be reduced at night when lights are switched on inside the room.
If privacy is the main requirement, one of our daylight roller blind fabrics would be more suitable.
For rooms where blocking incoming light is important, choose a blackout roller blind fabric instead.
That honesty should actually help conversion because someone buying voile knows exactly what they're getting.
Cadence or Yare Voile?
This also gives us a very useful internal comparison.
Choose Cadence Voile when you want:
A lightweight sheer roller blind fabric
Maximum natural daylight
A simple White, Natural or Grey colour
An economical voile option
Fabric up to 200cm wide
Choose Yare FR Voile when you need:
Flame-retardant voile
Extra-wide 290cm fabric
A wider six-colour selection
A fabric intended for more demanding commercial or contract applications
So Cadence and Yare have very different purposes despite both being voiles.
Choosing Your Colour
Cadence is available in three versatile colours:
White – the brightest option for a clean, light appearance
Natural – a softer warm neutral
Grey – a contemporary cooler neutral
Because voile is sheer, its appearance can change considerably depending on the amount of light behind it, the time of day and the colour of the window or surroundings.
Images displayed online should therefore be treated as a guide only.
We strongly recommend ordering a physical fabric swatch before purchasing larger quantities.
Up to 4 fabric swatches are available for £3.95, with the sample cost redeemable against a qualifying subsequent roller blind fabric order.

Cut-to-Length Fabric & Returns
Please check your required quantity and colour carefully before ordering. Roller blind fabric is cut from the roll specifically to the length ordered and, once cut, cannot normally be returned or exchanged because the wrong quantity or colour has been selected, or because you have changed your mind. Colours can appear differently on screens, so we strongly recommend ordering a fabric swatch before purchasing, particularly where colour matching is important. This does not affect your statutory rights if the fabric is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
