Roe is a high-performance extra-wide screen roller blind fabric, supplied by the continuous linear metre and available in a choice of 1% or 3% openness.

At 250cm wide, Roe is ideal for larger roller blinds where standard 200cm fabric isn't wide enough. The additional width can also be particularly economical when making several smaller blinds, as multiple covers may be cut side-by-side across the fabric.

Roe's specialist woven construction helps control solar heat and glare while retaining outward visibility, making it particularly useful for offices, home offices, computer and screen environments, conservatories, sunny rooms and other domestic or commercial applications.

The 250cm width is available in the full seven-colour Roe range: White, Beige, Light Grey, Mid Grey, Dark Grey, Bronze and Charcoal.

Choosing 1% or 3% Openness

The openness factor describes the proportion of open space within the screen fabric weave.

1% openness has a tighter weave, providing greater screening and solar/glare control with less visibility through the fabric.

3% openness allows more light through and provides greater outward visibility while still helping to control glare and solar heat.

If you're unsure which option is most suitable, please contact us before ordering.

Why Choose 250cm Extra-Wide Fabric?

The 250cm width allows larger roller blind covers to be made where standard 200cm material isn't sufficient.

It can also be an economical choice when replacing several narrower blinds. Depending on the dimensions required, two or more covers may be positioned side-by-side across the 250cm fabric width, reducing the number of linear metres you need to purchase.

Send us the finished widths and drops of your blinds and we'll be happy to help work out the most economical cutting layout before you order.

Ordering Your Fabric

Roe is sold by the continuous linear metre with a minimum order of 2 metres.

Choose your 1% or 3% openness, colour and quantity.

Quantity 2 = 200cm long × 250cm wideQuantity 3 = 300cm long × 250cm wideQuantity 4 = 400cm long × 250cm wide

Multiple metres will be supplied as one continuous length wherever possible.

How Much Fabric Do I Need?

When replacing an existing roller blind cover, allow approximately 30cm extra beyond the finished blind drop for the bottom finish and sufficient fabric to remain wrapped around the roller tube.

For example, a 150cm finished drop would normally require approximately 180cm of fabric, so you would order 2 metres.

When making several blinds, contact us with your measurements and we can help calculate the most economical layout.

What Is Screen Roller Blind Fabric?

Unlike conventional daylight or blackout material, screen fabric contains tiny openings within its woven construction. These allow some light and visibility through the blind while helping to reduce glare and solar gain.

Roe is particularly useful on windows receiving strong sunlight and in rooms containing televisions or computer monitors.

It is not a blackout fabric. Roe is designed to manage light and solar performance while retaining some connection with the view outside.

Need Your Fabric Cut or Finished?

Our professional Cut-to-Size and Cut & Hem services are available separately if you'd prefer us to prepare your replacement roller blind covers.

Multiple covers can be prepared from the same piece of fabric where the dimensions allow.

Standard cutting-service delivery applies to individual finished covers up to 190cm wide. Please contact us for a delivery quotation for wider finished covers.

Choosing Your Colour

The 250cm Roe fabric is available in:

White, Beige, Light Grey, Mid Grey, Dark Grey, Bronze and Charcoal.

Screen settings and lighting can affect how colours appear, while both colour and openness factor can affect the appearance and view through screen fabric.

We recommend ordering a physical sample where colour or openness is important.

Fabric samples are free – simply pay the postage, which is refundable against your subsequent fabric order.

Cut-to-Length Fabric & Returns

Please check your required quantity, openness and colour carefully before ordering. Fabric is cut from the roll specifically to the length ordered and, once cut, cannot normally be returned or exchanged because the wrong quantity, openness or colour has been selected, or because you have changed your mind.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the fabric is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
