Signature Extra-Wide FR Daylight Roller Blind Fabric – 250cm & 300cm Wide
Signature Extra-Wide FR Daylight Roller Blind Fabric by the Metre – 250cm & 300cm Wide
Quality extra-wide flame-retardant daylight roller blind fabric supplied by the continuous linear metre, ideal for larger roller blinds, replacing existing blind fabric, or making several narrower roller blinds from one width of fabric.
Available in a choice of 250cm or 300cm fabric widths, Signature FR Daylight provides a practical extra-wide option where standard 200cm roller blind fabric isn't wide enough.
Made from 100% polyester, the fabric gently filters incoming light, helping to reduce glare while still allowing natural daylight into the room and providing privacy.
Tested to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B, Signature FR Daylight is particularly suitable for commercial, educational, healthcare and other environments where flame-retardant fabric may be required or preferred. It is also an excellent choice for domestic roller blinds where an FR fabric is wanted.
Both extra-wide sizes are available in five neutral colours: White, Off White, Light Grey, Mid Grey and Dark Grey.

Ordering Your Fabric
Fabric is sold by the linear metre with a minimum order of 2 metres.
First select your required fabric width – 250cm or 300cm – then choose your colour and the number of linear metres required.
For example, when ordering the 250cm width:
Quantity 2 = 200cm long × 250cm wide
Quantity 3 = 300cm long × 250cm wide
When ordering the 300cm width:
Quantity 2 = 200cm long × 300cm wide
Quantity 3 = 300cm long × 300cm wide
Multiple metres will be supplied as one continuous length wherever possible.
How Much Fabric Do I Need?
When replacing the fabric on an existing roller blind, don't order fabric equal to the finished blind drop.
As a general guide, we recommend allowing approximately 30cm extra beyond the finished blind drop. This provides material for the bottom finish and allows sufficient fabric to remain wrapped around the roller tube when the blind is fully lowered.
For example, a blind with a finished drop of 150cm would normally require approximately 180cm of fabric, meaning a 2-metre order would be appropriate.
Making More Than One Blind?
This is where 250cm and 300cm wide fabric can be particularly economical.
The extra width may allow several narrower blind covers to be cut side-by-side from the same linear length of fabric. For example, depending on the finished dimensions and cutting allowances, a 300cm wide piece of fabric could potentially provide material for three blinds approximately 90cm wide.
If you're making several blinds, please contact us before ordering. We can help you consider the most economical orientation and quantity of fabric for your project.
Why Choose a Flame-Retardant Fabric?
Signature FR Daylight combines the light-filtering properties of a daylight roller blind fabric with flame-retardant performance tested to BS 5867 Part 2 Type B.
This makes it particularly useful for applications where an FR fabric is specified or preferred, including offices, schools, healthcare settings and other commercial or contract environments.
Its five-colour range concentrates on practical neutral shades — White, Off White, Light Grey, Mid Grey and Dark Grey — making it easy to coordinate with a wide variety of interiors.
FR Daylight or FR Blackout Fabric?
This FR Daylight fabric is designed to soften and filter incoming light rather than completely block it. It's a good choice where you want to reduce glare and provide screening while retaining natural daylight.
For areas where greater light exclusion is required, see our Signature Extra-Wide FR Blackout Roller Blind Fabric instead.
If you require an FR daylight fabric with a much wider choice of colours, our Thames FR Daylight Roller Blind Fabric is also available in extra-wide options.
Choosing Your Colour
Please remember that colours displayed online are for guidance only. Scanning, photography, lighting and individual phone, tablet and monitor settings can significantly affect how a fabric colour appears on screen.
If the exact colour is important, we strongly recommend ordering a physical fabric swatch before purchasing your fabric.
Fabric samples are free – simply pay the postage, which is refundable against your subsequent fabric order.

Cut-to-Length Fabric & Returns
Please check your required width, quantity and colour carefully before ordering. Roller blind fabric is cut from the roll specifically to the length ordered and, once cut, cannot normally be returned or exchanged because the wrong width, quantity or colour has been selected, or because you have changed your mind. Colours can appear differently on screens, so we strongly recommend ordering a fabric swatch before purchasing, particularly where colour matching is important. This does not affect your statutory rights if the fabric is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
